1. What we collect

Nothing you type into a calculator. All calculators on AussieCalc run entirely in your browser using JavaScript. The amounts, prices and selections you enter are processed locally and are never transmitted to our servers. We do not operate a database of user calculations.

2. Server logs

The site is served through a content delivery network. Like most websites, the hosting provider may record standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. This is used for security, abuse prevention and aggregate traffic measurement, and is not linked to any calculation you perform.

3. Cookies and advertising

The site does not currently load advertising services. If advertising is enabled in future, third-party vendors — including Google — may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings.

4. Analytics

With your permission, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate website usage. It may process information such as the pages visited, referral source, approximate location, browser and device type. Calculator amounts and selections are not sent to Google Analytics. The Google Analytics script is not loaded unless you select “Accept analytics”.

Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage under aussiecalc-analytics-consent. You can change it through “Privacy settings” in the footer. For information about Google's data practices, see Google's Privacy Policy.

5. Your rights

Because we do not hold personal information about your calculations, there is usually nothing to access, correct or delete.

6. Children

This site is a general-purpose calculator and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

7. Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date.
